Alan D Scoffield Heating Engineers Ltd operate across the Wirral, North Wales and Chester areas. Our own highly trained engineers install and maintain gas, solid fuel and warm air heating installations.

Since the business was founded in 1972 it has grown steadily due to our unrivalled reputation for quality workmanship and friendly service to our customers. With over 50 years experience in heating maintenance and installation, we offer a professional service of which we are proud. Our recently refurbished showroom in Banks Road West Kirby, is a place where prospective customers are welcomed to discuss their requirements or queries over a friendly cup of coffee.

No. All of our engineers are fully qualified, and re-take their gas qualifications every 5 years.

We cover The Wirral, North Wales, and Chester.

Your boiler should be serviced every 12 months.

We have a 4-tier choice of service contracts depending on the depth of cover you require.

The internal batteries in the radiator valves should last over 2 years. It is recommended to use the best quality batteries when replacing them.

Yes. Our engineers will bring all of their own equipment, including dustsheets etc to protect your home accordingly.

The engineer will not normally bleed the radiators as part of the servicing procedure. However, we can do this during the service if you require.

No. You wont have to change it as long as it has the correct ventilation etc, and there is no signs of distress or spillage.

The engineer will calculate the input of the fire and check the manufacturer's recommendations. If it is an old fire, it is likely a 100sq cm combustion air vent will need to be fitted.

It may be prudent to re-route your condensate drain, and upsize it where necessary.
